4. LOCATION INFORMATION

1. Information We Collect – Location Data
Location Information
We collect and use real-time location data from delivery personnel to enable core app functionality. This includes:
  • Tracking the delivery partner’s live location during an active order
  • Showing the delivery partner’s location to the customer for order tracking
  • Optimizing delivery routes and estimating delivery time
Location data is accessed only while the delivery is in progress.
2. How We Use Location Data
We use location data strictly for the following purposes:
  • To assign and manage delivery orders
  • To display the delivery partner’s live location to the customer
  • To ensure successful pickup and delivery of orders
3. Data Storage and Retention
We do not store location data permanently.
Location data is used temporarily and in real time
  • Location data is discarded after the order is completed
  • We do not maintain historical location logs
4. Data Sharing
We do not share location data with third parties.
Location information is shared only between:
  • The delivery partner
  • The customer associated with the active order
No location data is sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes.
5. User Control and Permissions
  • Location access is requested only with user consent
  • Delivery partners can enable or disable location access through their device settings
  • If location access is disabled, certain delivery features may not function properly

This app accesses location data in compliance with applicable data protection laws and app store policies, including Google Play’s User Data and Privacy requirements.

5. PAYMENTS & FINANCIAL INFORMATION

  • SD Food does not store credit/debit card details
  • Payments are processed through RBI-compliant third-party payment gateways
  • Bank details collected from merchants and riders are used only for settlements and payouts
     

6. DATA SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We may share information only with:

  • Restaurants (for order fulfillment)
  • Riders (for delivery execution)
  • Payment gateway providers
  • Cloud storage and analytics service providers
  • Government or law enforcement authorities if required by law

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
